My commitment to the gym has been quite rewarding. I am consistently going around 4 to 5 times a week. This routine has not only helped me maintain a regular exercise schedule but has also significantly improved my overall fitness and given me a reason to get up in the morning. Each visit to the gym is a chance to challenge myself and to hone my focus
I have set a goal to increase my daily mileage, and I successfully averaged 10 miles a day in March, half of what I'll be averaging come June! So I'm looking to continue to enhance my endurance and stamina over the coming months. Tracking my progress through Strava has definitely provided me with a sense of accomplishment, seeing the miles and steps, elevation and achievements add up each day, fueling my determination. I was hesitant at first regarding the new gamified world of apps we live in, but really getting all sorts of nice compliments and badges on Strava for my walks is quite nice!
Additionally, I've been focusing on balancing my workouts with proper nutrition to support my fitness journey. This includes ensuring I'm consuming enough protein to aid muscle recovery, staying hydrated before and after workouts, and incorporating a variety of fruits and vegetables into my meals for essential vitamins and minerals. The combination of a solid gym routine and mindful eating i hope will make a noticeable difference in my energy levels and overall well-being during my walk.
As I look forward to the coming months, I aim to maintain this momentum and soak up any and all advice from the ever encouraging and knowledgable team at Everlast Gyms in Cheltenham.

Hell yeah dad!
